Tip #1: Brush Their Teeth

Failing to do so allows plaque, bacteria, and food particles to accumulate on their teeth, elevating the risk of tooth decay.

Encouraging your child to drink water helps maintain mouth moisture and aids in washing away bacteria.

Tip #4: Change Their Toothbrush

Toothbrushes used for oral care should be replaced every three to four months, and it’s advisable to do so once you recover from an illness. Failure to replace the toothbrush puts your child at risk of reinfection. If you cannot immediately obtain a new toothbrush, an alternative is to boil their existing one in hot water to eliminate some of the bacteria.
